As the executive producer of "A Force More Powerful," I can tell you that the single workshop in Dubai, for Iranians interested in human rights, at which that film was partly screened was most definitely not funded by the U.S. government or associated in any way with the last administration's democracy promotion program, and virtually everything written about that workshop on the internet is false, courtesy of the Iranian regime's disinformation -- some of which appears in the article cited above.  We wrote a letter to the editor of The New York Times Magazine, which corrected the record:  http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9D04E7D81231F93AA15754C0A9619C8B63
